Facebook Adds ‘Domestic Partnership’ and ‘Civil Union’ to Relationship Status Options.

While I stand on record as being firmly against marriage and the general shenanigans of couplehood of any kind, by gosh I stand by everyone’s right to indulge in that royal pain in the ass. In other words, I’m not against gay marriage, I’m against marriage (bachelor for life). Ugh. Despite some assertions that “Facebook is life,” this isn’t exactly the strength of law we’re looking at. But mainstreaming is a good start and there’s nothing more mainstream than Facebook (le sigh). I’ll take that as a win.
