At Last, Netflix Gets Motion Support With Kinect

If you’re like me, then you own a Kinect, and if you’re even more like me, then you were kind of bummed when you realized you couldn’t use your kinect with the Netflix app. Well, good news…

Microsoft has finally announced that motion controlling is now available in the Netflix app. This means you can pick up movies, throw ’em at your friends, yell at the screen and tell it to do stuff, and time travel (FF/Rewind) with your hands and voice! Sounds like a work out!

So if you’re like me, and you’ve run out of fun things to do with your Kinect. Well, KiNectflix should keep you occupied for a couple of minutes. Go give it a try.

  I maintain that Microsoft did a fantastic job with the 360… and that’s about it.

    I think they’re getting wiser, and slightly more ‘hip’ about what to produce and how to produce/sell it.
