Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 and 5.0 launched

Don’t want a Galaxy S phone and don’t want a Galaxy Tab but want all the Android goodness that come with them? Well if you live in Russia or Switzerland, you’re in luck! The 4-inch Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 and the 5-inch Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 have been released in those countries respectively with plans for a multinational rollout on the way. Taking a page out of the book of Apple, Samsung launches this line of non-phone personal media players to be the Android answer to Apple’s iPod Touch. With the exception of screen size and battery size, both devices are identical and come with Android 2.2, with Gingerbread being a “possibility” in the future. Both also feature front and rear facing cameras, a 1Ghz process, 720p video recording, built-in Qik video calling, GPS, and b/g/n WiFi. Hoping to get your hands on one of these Stateside?
