Here’s a list of U.S. carriers that will be getting the Samsung Galaxy Nexus

The majority of the buzz surrounding the Samsung Galaxy Nexus was that it would be a Verizon Wireless exclusive, which left a lot of Android fans on other carriers feeling a bit left out. Well, if the iPhone 5 rumors and hype taught you anything, it’s to not believe everything the rumors and hype tell you. Samsung U.S.A. has set up a website for you to sign up for email notifications on when the Galaxy Nexus will be available for your carrier. The list of carriers you can choose from is as follows:

  • AT&T
  • Cellular South
  • Metro PCS
  • Sprint
  • T-Mobile
  • U.S. Cellular
  • Verizon

A November release date was promised for the Galaxy Nexus although that doesn’t necessarily mean that it will be released on all the above carriers in November. Leaks already have pointed to a November 10 release date on Verizon and Verizon may very well hold Galaxy Nexus exclusivity for some weeks if they’ve penned that kind of agreement with Android. Sooner or later though, Ice Cream Sandwich will be available on your carrier and probably much sooner than manufacturers like HTC or Motorola start rolling out Sensed or Blurred ICS versions in early 2012.
