It was a big day today in New York, the new home to the Space Shuttle Enterprise. There’s not much to say other than we at The Noisecast will miss the Shuttle; and yes, Chris, I am aware that this is only a test Shuttle and never actually went to space. On a blustery spring day, there was no better place to be than on the West Side of Manhattan.
If you find yourself in New York City this summer, be sure to check out Enterprise at her new permanent home at the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum.
Check our full gallery after jump and very special thank you to Andrew Sasaki for contributing those gorgeous close-ups of the Shuttle Carrier and Shuttle.
Great pics, thanks for sharing.)
